Boys Club Tryouts 2025 - 2026

Club Volleyball functions as the development pipeline for athletes wanting to play at the elite level. Come join us for club tryouts, the season takes place from The season consists of two parts: 

1st Session Starting 10/15/25-1/25/26

2nd Session Starting 4/29/26-7/7/26

Tryouts secure your team posistion for both sessions 

Game Point Volleyball is made up of volleyball elite veterans. Sindee Snow and Yvonne Devlin have been volleyball institutions in the state of Florida for close to 30 years. This group has won several National Championships and gone on to produce numerous All-Americans collegiate players, and professionals. 

 

Teams Available

10's, through 14's

The number of teams at each age group depends on how many athletes tryout. We try to accommodate as many players as possible. We prefer players tryout with their own age group. If you have extenuating circumstances you would like to discuss you can call us. Refer age definition chart to determine what age group to register for. â€‹

Tryout Time

All ages are from 5:00pm - 6:30pm

Players should arrive 30 minutes prior to allow  for registration processing, sizing and warm-ups

What season fees include: 

  • Uniform package

  • Two weekly practices

  • Tournaments (travel and hotel not included)

  • Entry into the AAU National Championships

​

Practice: 

  • Practice will occur on Wednesdays and Fridays

  • All ages practice from 5:30 to 7:30pm

   NO PRACTICE:

  • Thanksgiving: Nov. 24th - 28th

  • Christmas/New Years: Dec 22nd - Jan. 4th

Players must register in advance online. This helps expedite the check-on process on the day of tryouts 

 

​ What is needed in order to tryout​

  • A current AAU number. You can apply for one at the AAU Membership website. 

  • Bring a copy player birth certificate or Passport

  • Acknowlegement you have read the Game Point Hand Book

  • Paid registration

*The tryout registration fee is non-refundable. 

2.  Check -in

On tryout day

You must check-in during the time noted on the website. You must be there 30 minutes prior, no later

​​

At check-in you will:

  1. Need to provide copy of your birthcertificate or provide a passport

  2. Need to have a valid AAU membership number

​

Post check-in process

  • You will receive a tryout number 

  • You will be directed to an area where you will get your tested (height, vertical) and get sized for uniform apparel. 

  • Once sizing is complete you will proceed to the gym area to self warmup until the official tryout start time. 

3.  Tryout

Players should of arrived at the "check-in' time and completed the check-in procedures stated. Players should begin warming up. Tryouts will start at the indicated time.  Players should not attempt to show up at just the tryout time as you will not have enough time to be processed in order to participate.

Players will be divided into courts to participate in drillis and scrimmages. Players will move to different courts throughout the tryout for evaluation purposes

SELECTION​

Players will be called off during the tryout period and told the team they have been selected for. A parent must will need to be present, If you chose to accept your team selection you will complete a "Club participation contract" and need to submit a deposit of $500 in order to secure your spot. Season fee's will be shared with the family upon consideration before committing to the season. If you leave without accepting the position, or putting down a deposit, we will not be able to hold your position and it will be given to the next eligible player.
