Nicole’s dedication to club volleyball began in Colorado in 6 th  grade as a setter and right-side hitter. She
played club at Front Range, Colorado Foothills, and Boulder Volleyball Clubs. In high school, she was
named as an All-State, All-Conference setter.

She began her collegiate career as the starting setter for the United States Coast Guard Academy in New
London, CT; however, her desire to attain her degree in Marine Biology and work with marine mammals
changed her path. She finished her collegiate career at Humboldt State University in Arcata, CA, where
she was named Defensive Player of the Year her senior year.

She attained her Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Biology at San Francisco State University and started her
coaching career at City Beach Volleyball Club in Santa Clara, CA.

Shortly after graduation, she relocated to Florida to begin a 20-year career as an Animal Care Specialist
at Sea World. She coached one season for Orlando Volleyball Academy, however, she could not continue
due to career schedule conflicts.
Nicole plays in an adult league and has volunteered her time coaching various programs within the
community, including private lessons, YMCA Teams, and volleyball academy.  She is ecstatic to join the
Game Point coaching staff and resume coaching in a sport she has been passionate about for over 30
years.
