I have had the opportunity to immerse myself in the world of volleyball, both as a player and as a coach. As a player, I proudly represented New York City College of Technology as a skilled middle blocker. Playing in that position allowed me to showcase my agility, vertical leap, and strategic thinking on the court. I dedicated myself to improving my skills, refining my technique, and contributing to the team's success both offensively and defensively.

Inspired by my passion for the sport, I decided to extend my involvement in volleyball by taking on coaching roles. I had the privilege of coaching a 15U Regional team, where I shared my knowledge and experiences with young, aspiring players. My focus was on fostering teamwork, discipline, and relentless determination among the team members. I aimed to instill in them the values that had shaped my own playing career and to help them develop their skills and confidence on the court.

Additionally, I had the opportunity to assist a 14U Travel team as an assistant coach. Collaborating closely with the head coach, I provided guidance and support to the players, helping them develop their skills, understand game strategies, and cultivate a positive team culture. I found great satisfaction in witnessing the growth and progress of these young athletes, as they embraced the challenges of the sport and worked together to achieve their goals.

Through my experiences as both a player and a coach, I have gained a comprehensive understanding of volleyball from different perspectives. This has allowed me to develop a deep appreciation for the tactical aspects of the game, as well as the importance of mental resilience and teamwork. I am grateful for the opportunities I have had and look forward to continuing my journey in the volleyball community, utilizing my expertise to inspire and guide future generations of players.
