Selena Guerrero

I am from Sanford Florida and began coaching journey in 2021.

I began my coaching career as an assistant coach for the boys’ program at Crooms Academy, followed by serving as the head coach for the freshman team at Lyman High School. Shortly thereafter, I led the volleyball program at Crooms Academy for two years, coaching both the girls’ and boys’ teams. I also coached at the club level with DSC, where I served as the head coach for the 13U team. I am now excited to begin the next chapter of my coaching journey with Game Point (2025).


Coaching has come with its challenges over the years, but watching my players grow both on and off the court has always made it worthwhile. I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside incredible coaches who have shaped my approach, and I continue to learn, grow, and adapt as I strive to become a better coach.

Coaching volleyball is special to me because I get to watch athletes grow not just as players, but as people. Seeing their confidence build, their mindset change, and their love for the game grows on and off the court is what makes coaching so rewarding, and I’m incredibly lucky to be a part of their journey.
