Normarie is originally from Canovanas Puerto Rico.
She played indoor and beach volleyball at the University of Puerto Rico - Rio Piedras. She went onto play one year (2015) in the professional league Copuvo Superior of Puerto Rico. Her coaching career includes: International Coach level 1 (FIVB)
