Evans Monterrosso

I started my career as a Volleyball player in 2000 in High School, in 2005 I started to play with the Honduras National Team and played for 11 years achieving multiple awards as an Outside Hitter.

In September 2012 Gold Medal in 1st Qualifying Round to World VolleyballChampionship Polonia 2014 (El Salvador).

In April 2013 I achieved a Gold Medal in X Edition of Central America Sport Games (Costa Rica)

In June 2013 I achieved the Gold Medal in the 2nd Qualifying Round to World Volleyball Championship Polonia 2014 (Best Spiker Award; Guadalupe).

In May 2014 I participated in the 3rd Qualifying Round to World Volleyball Championship Polonia 2014 (Puerto Rico).

In December 2014 I achieved Bronze Medal Central America Volleyball Tournament (Team Captain).

I moved to Orlando, Florida in 2016 where I continued playing. One year later in 2017, I played the USAV Adults National in Minnesota finishing in 3Rd place (Bronze Medal).

In 2019 I played USAV adults Nationals in Cleveland, OH where our team finished in 1st place
and I was named the all-around American MVP in our division.



I started my career as a Volleyball Coach in August 2009 back in Honduras in the American

School of Tegucigalpa, Eagle Cup Mini Volleyball (Children’s 9 to 12 years).

In January 2010 Pre-Youth Head Coach of American School of Tegucigalpa in ABSH Tournament, San Pedro Sula-
Honduras (Bronze Medal, girls from 13 to 15 years).

In May 2010 I was the Assistant Coach of the Youth Honduras National Team (NORCECA Tournament in Quebec- Canada).

In January 2011 I was the Pre-Youth Head Coach of American School of Tegucigalpa in ABSH Tournament

Tegucigalpa-Honduras (Bronze Medal girls from 13 to 15 years).
In 2013 I went to Leipzig-Germany to continue my preparation as a coach, I took a “Coaches Volleyball Course” (7 months) being one of the most outstanding students.


When I moved to Florida, I started coaching for OTVA and coached there for the last 5 years (coaching ages from 10-17 years old). In my last season working from the club, I was the coordinator from the North Location where I was helping coaches and players to develop and overseen all the teams/coaches. I joined Game Point Volleyball in 2020
