Tyler Hubbard-Neil
"Tyler Hubbard-Neil is from Battle Creek, Michigan. Tyle is a seasoned volleyball coach with over a decade of experience coaching both men's and women's teams at the JV, Varsity, and club levels. He has served as an assistant coach at Adrian College, Siena Heights University, and the University of Central Florida (UCF), and most notably was named an assistant coach for the Orlando Valkyries in the Professional Volleyball Federation (PVF). In addition to his coaching roles, Tyler has experience as a social media content coordinator and recruiting coordinator and has led volleyball camps at prestigious institutions such as Stanford University, Michigan State University, the University of Michigan, UCF, Sports Performance Volleyball Club, and Legacy Volleyball Club.
After college, Tyler played professionally for four years in the National Volleyball Association (NVA), where he was named an NVA All-Star in 2022. Tyler is also a graduate of Siena Heights University, where he earned a degree in Communications and played men's volleyball. As a player, he became the all-time career leader in kills, aces, points scored, digs, and ranked 5th in total career blocks. He was named Team MVP all four years, served as team captain in his senior year, and helped lead the Saints to the winningest four-year stretch in program history with a record of 67-38. Under his leadership, the team progressed from last place in the conference to back-to-back conference finals appearances, with Tyler earning three All-Conference selections and multiple All-Tournament honors. He set individual single-season records in kills and aces, while playing in 104 of 105 matches during his career."
