Norma Ventriere

I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and began playing volleyball at the early age of 8 years old. I played in numerous clubs over the next several years, attended various tournaments throughout the United States and Puerto Rico, and was part of the Borinquen Coqui team that won the USAV Nationals in 2000. I also played volleyball throughout my school career with teams that have won numerous championships over several years. I was an all around player but my strongest position was libero.

I am an active and experienced wedding and event planner in Florida, and I’m in the process of finishing my bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management with UCF. I have two daughters who are active players in Game Point. Their recent years of playing volleyball have reignited my desire to get back into this great sport as a coach and a player.

Game Point provided me that coaching opportunity for the 2021/2022 season. I had the pleasure of coaching a variety of age groups during my first season, which included 10’s, 14’s, and 17’s.

I truly enjoy coaching and helping young players develop their skills and abilities both on the court and off the court. I am looking forward to continuing my volleyball coaching career with Game Point, and hope to make a lasting impression on the future players to come.
