Alexis Sinclair was born and raised in New Hampshire where she played volleyball for Newfound Regional High School. She earned All State honors her Junior year on Varsity and was offensive player of the year with a hitting percentage of .320. Her senior year she served on the team as team captain and once again earned All State Honors and was defensive and offensive player of the year with a hitting percentage of .279 and 366 digs on the season.
Alexis played volleyball at Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island while studying Baking and Pastry arts for all four years. She started out as and outside her freshman year and switched to libero as a Sophomore. During her time at Johnson & Wales she helped her team to 3 conference championships, 3 NCAA appearances and 1 Regional NCAA tournament title. Her senior year her team went on to compete in the Elite Eight in Grand Rapids Michigan for Division 3 and finished 5th in the Nation. In her final season with the wildcats she was a team captain and earned a 35-1 record on the season.
Alexis now enjoys playing all forms of volleyball from grass to beach, and of course indoor. She previously has coached for the Blast Volleyball Club in RI, and NC Academy in NC.
