I was exposed to coaching at 14 when I helped out with the Game Point Rec League. This helped me gain more knowledge about the game, which both improved my basic skills and volleyball IQ. As a result of this training and my years of play, I am confident in teaching these skills to young players.
I started coaching here at Game Point 2024 in my junior year of high school at 17 years of age with the 10 local team.
I have always loved coaching because I want to teach others the sport I love the sport. I grew up in an athletic family with the love for tennis and it helped me grow as an athlete but also as a person. Seeing the younger ones playing and knowing I am part of their development and success is very satisfying. I want to teach them in the same way that I was taught growing up here at Game Point. I love being a mentor to these kids. The sport is both physically and emotionally demanding and I enjoy being to help them with that.
